This is an awful app. It doesnt work AT ALL! And there is no help, no support, the site I not user friendly. The phone does not ring at all. A total waste of time!!!!!!

Why is the logical network layer exposed at the app level? Just wanna Skype, and now Ive got to add Skype Wi-Fi to make it work more better?

The description CLEARLY SAYS THAT THIS CONNECTS YOU TO CERTAIN HOTSPOTS AT A SMALL FEE! FFS.... I dont even need this but the reviews are full of people who dont know how to read. Let me spell it out. THIS IS NOT A FIX FOR THE REGULAR SKYPE APP! Sometimes when youre various places you dont have any free wifi... Many hotels, for instance, make you pay a day long fee to even so much as be on for a minute to check your email. So this allows you to connect to a hotspot that charges a smaller fee per how long youre on, as opposed to a heavy fee for a full day of nothing. IT ISNT FOR IF YOURE ALREADY CONNECTED. IT ISNT A FIX. IT ISNT ANYTHING LIKE THAT ITS EXACTLY AS IT SAYS. LEARN TO READ!

From what I can ascertain this app will allow me to connect to various hotspots while traveling. Will update this after our trip.

I love this app but its just eh but yah its good :)

You dont know what your missing. But Skypes cud be improved.

This is just a wast of time it does nothing!

I tried to log into my current account and it said something like I was trying to take someone elses. So I decided if it wont let me sign in with it, that Id make another one but no where on the app can you create a account. Someone really needs to fix this app.

It helped me a lot to keep in touch with my friends

I love this app my best friend and me live apart Skype is the reason why I wake up in the morning amazing quality awesome search area great everything I know Im only ten so I cant write a proper report but whatever Skype is awesome

Its a really good app to Skype with people and talk to Friends long distance.

I do not like the new interface. The previous one was much better. The application is still the best IM and talk option available.

I couldnt Skype without wifi

Had to delete app to make wifi work again. Reinstalling the app immediately broke it again. It took hours to figure that out via troubleshooting. I dont recommend installing this app until this bug is addressed!

Ive had Skype Wifi installed on the phone for a while - just in case; Ive never used it. I also have Skype installed. Then I noticed several gigs of data on my cell bill. Whats going on? Found out that Skype Wifi hijacked my phones Wifi connection, de facto disabling it, and let all data run through the cell connection and plan. The best part, I never signed into Skype Wifi; looks like it took my Skype credentials automatically, logged me into Skype Wifi without my doing, disabling my Wifi connection and running up my cell data. Thanks for nothing Skype! Removed from phone, back to normal.

It keeps swapping from "Wifi" to "not connected."
